GS86 was one of 18 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Vilancupen 2017. They participated with one team in Pojkar 14.
In addition to GS86, 7 other teams played in Pojkar 14. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof GS86 could be found in Group 1 together with Vara IBK, Partille IBS and IBF Göteborg. GS86 made it to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Hovslätts IK with 2-4. Thereby GS86 finished second in P14 Slutspel A during Vilancupen 2017. GS86 comes from Forshaga which lies approximately 130 km from Skara, where Vilancupen takes place.
